Dark theatrical rock duo The Yesters premiere the official music video for “Freak Show” on March 6, 2026, unveiling a cinematic visual that expands on the single’s themes of addiction, temptation, and the tension between self-control and outside influence. The track pairs brooding melodies with a vintage-tinged rock atmosphere, telling the story of a woman navigating addiction not as a solitary struggle, but as a constant negotiation with a world that both entices and judges her.
Directed by Toon de Melker, the video transforms this internal conflict into a surreal carnival-like landscape filled with stylized characters and shadowy environments where reality and performance blur together. ABOUT THE YESTERS
THE YESTERS include Alyssa Rallo Bennett and Gary O. Bennett, a creative duo whose work spans both music and film, Ed Kuri, composer/arranger, guitarist, Graham Orbe, bass, Liam Kerekes and Jack Bennett, drums and sound engineer, Mariano Flores.
Alyssa, a director, producer, and composer, has a background deeply rooted in storytelling, both visually and sonically. She has directed award-winning films such as The Pack, Abberant, ReRUN, and recent feature film The Arrival, distributed by Gravitas Ventures. Her music has been praised for its cinematic depth, with her debut album Anymore garnering critical attention. She continues to perform live at venues across NYC, Woodstock & LA, infusing her passion for storytelling into every artistic endeavor.
Gary, a writer, director, and producer, co-founded Stonestreet Studios, an independent film studio dedicated to socially conscious storytelling. His screenplays, including Rain Without Thunder, ReRUN, and The Arrival, have won acclaim at festivals worldwide. With a strong foundation in writing for film, television, and theater.
